The Builds

Here is where we will post builds that have worked well, builds that were found easy to play, and builds that made the dream of warframe a real experience.

There are no “bad” warframes. The idea of a “bad” warframe is a sign of ignorance and general laziness. This is especially true in Warframe where you are guaranteed to win.

This build fits on all frames. It is a solid shield tank build to start any frame that you have not learned, or don’t have a build for, or you just do not like dying on the regular.

How to play this build

You do not have to do anything special for this build. There is no play loop of special buttons to press, no energy management, and no situaton setups for this build to work well for all your warframes. You can focus on working on doing the mission, collecting the rewards and all the other things you need to do in your missions.

Build Credits:

Builds in Warframe are something that most Warframe social media content creators may want to lay claim to creating. The facts are:

  1. There only a few mods in the game, made by DE for the game. These are made by DE.
  2. From these few mods, there is really only a small handfull of combinations for a build that works as expected. These are made and planned by DE.

The simple narrow combination of builds is why “META” mod builds exist, because there is really only a few ways, or only one way, to get a build to work well. The lack of actual functional build variety in the game is clearly reconginzed and understood by the Warframe community. This narrow list of useful game play content has been organized into labels organically for the builds based on the few support, defense, and offense methods that actually work in the game.

  • For defense you have Shield Tanking, Health Tanking, Energy Tanking, and Shield Gating.
  • For offense you have Nuke, Weapons Platform, and Face Tank.
  • For support you have Overguard, Buff Frame, Healer, and Crowd Control.

So with the community actually being able to give lables to the META builds that are published, we know that anything unique about a build that you would want to try and give credit or attribution to a social media content creator is nigh impossible, DE is the original build creator in all cases. It is DE’s game, it is DE’s world and DE has their internal pet vision of things that we players, only consume and it is what we are given to play with. This has led the players to the one way “META” culture we see today. So no content createtor can lay claim to anything as something, saying they that they created it. The content createtors are stuck in the same pigeon hole of taking what they are given just like the rest of us.

BUT….. credit is due for these content creators and the information they provide to explain things where DE just does not explain. The content creators do work hard to make their content and they are then paid by the social media platform they publish on, they are not paid by DE. I honor their work and encourage everyone to read or watch their build content. You will find that many YouTube content creators provide excellent starting points explaining most if not all of these builds. These creators provide an excellent service of condensed, organized, and useful build information to explain what DE created, they are worth your time to watch and give you the 95% carbon copy of the build that makes your Warframe experience happen.
